Whatever you do, do for God’s Glory: Story 1

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

If you’ve ever read this verse and wondered (to yourself or audibly),” but, how do I actually apply that to my life?”, then you’re in good company! 

The goal of this podcast is to demystify what it means to live for God’s glory by inviting Christians to share their stories and give us real-life examples of what it means to “do all to the glory of God.”

Today is Story #1 (otherwise known as episode 1), where I will be sharing what the Lord has taught me over the last five years about copywriting for God’s glory - and really what led to starting this podcast.

Five years ago, I was about a month away from giving birth to my last son and really searching for a way to leave my remote government job and work for myself.

My kid love of writing was beginning to resurface, and I was desperately trying to figure out how I could make writing my job. I had marketing jobs here and there, and while I didn’t ever have a real marketing or writing job (or at least I thought), I did have experience writing in various industries. I remember thinking, “If only there were a job with the writing part of marketing…” Little did I know.
